NEW BreizhGo Solidarity Fare
From 3 January 2023, reduced fares will be available on presentation of the BreizhGo Solidaire card, which is already in use on the BreizhGo coach and TER train network. This card, available subject to eligibility criteria, provides access to discounts across the entire regional transport network for one year (two years for AAH recipients).
We invite you to visit https://www.breizhgo.bzh/solidaire to check your eligibility and, depending on your circumstances, to apply for a card. As the processing time is two weeks on average, you should, in principle, be able to benefit from these advantages from early 2023.
Place of residence is no longer a condition for eligibility: applications can be made from anywhere in France.
APPLY FOR YOUR BREIZHGO SOLIDAIRE CARD

If you already hold a BreizhGo Solidaire card, you do not need to take any further action. You will benefit from the BreizhGo Solidaire fare on your ferry crossing upon presentation of the card until its expiry date. (See ticket purchase conditions at https://www.breizhgo.bzh/solidaire).
Bookings for this fare can be made online, by telephone and at the ticket office at the ferry terminals.
The fare will be granted subject to presentation of a valid BreizhGo Solidarity Card on the day of the crossing, when collecting your tickets.
Good to know

This offer applies to one accompanying person per person with reduced mobility.

Are you a carer and does a member of your family live on one of the islands in the Iroise Sea? To make travel easier for family carers or designated carers, the Penn Ar Bed Shipping Company offers the Carer Card. This card allows holders to travel at a reduced rate all year round.
Who are ‘carers’?
Those eligible for the Caregiver Card are people recognised as guardians, family carers or recipients of the daily carer’s allowance (AJPA). They may apply for a personalised card valid on the island where the person they care for resides. Applicants must submit their application by email to [email protected] with the subject line “Création carte aidant”.
The application must be sent with all necessary information and the following supporting documents:
• The court order (for the guardian)
• A certificate from the Department or the care home (for the family carer)
• A document from the CAF or MSA confirming receipt of the AJPA daily carer’s allowance (for the carer)
• A document proving the family relationship between the applicant and the person being cared for (e.g. family record book)
• Proof of the care recipient’s main residence on the island;
;
• Proof of the carer’s address (the address to which the card will be sent once approved);
;
Once approved, the personalised card will be issued and sent by post as soon as possible. Supporting documents will be updated annually. Holders of the Carer Card are entitled to the equivalent of the Solidarity Fare when travelling to the island of residence of the person they care for.
