Preparing for your crossing

Ports of embarkation

To get to the island of Sein, ferries depart from Audierne all year round. Ferries also run from Brest and Camaret during the season.

Please make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before the boat departs, so you have plenty of time to park without any hassle – and why not grab a coffee before you set off!

Ferry terminal

Daily departures to the island of Sein are available all year round from the Ste Evette ferry terminal.

If the weather is bad, the crossing will depart from Douarnenez.

Allow 1 hour for the crossing from Audierne, and 2 hours if departing from Douarnenez.
