Built by the Piriou shipyard in Concarneau in 2011, the Fromveur 2 operates services to Molène and Ouessant and is perfectly suited to serving the islands. It is a seagoing vessel with excellent seaworthiness.The Fromveur 2 has the following specifications: length 45 m, beam 9.90 m, speed under load 15 knots (28 km/h). It carries 8 crew members and 365 passengers, including 12 with reduced mobility. The vessel is also equipped with a lift and a bar. The interior layout has been designed with accessibility for passengers with reduced mobility in mind; the corridors are wider and create a pleasant sense of space.
