Preparing for your crossing

Planning your journey

To get to the island of Molène, there are daily departures from Brest and Le Conquet all year round. Departures are also available from Camaret from April to September.

Please make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before the boat departs, so you have plenty of time to park without any hassle – and why not grab a coffee before you set off!

Before you set off, remember to withdraw cash on the mainland. Withdrawing cash on the islands can be difficult due to the limited number of cash machines (1 or 2 per island). You’ll find a list of the cash machines closest to the ferry terminals here.

Landing on Molène in rough seas

Depending on tidal conditions and times, as well as the weather, the company’s ‘large’ vessels will not be able to dock at the Molène pier.

Before disembarking on the island, you can be transferred from the Fromveur 2 or Enez Eussa to the Molène quay aboard the Docteur Tricard ferry.
It’s a rather epic and unique experience!
