The last piece of Brittany before America…
The island of Ouessant – known as ‘Enez Eusa’ in Breton – is situated near Brest and is a Breton island that is ideal for a stay or a holiday in Brittany.
On the boat journey there, imagination and reality play a game of hide-and-seek: majestic landscapes, spectacular winter storms. Certainly, the high cliffs carved by the ocean bear witness to the power of the elements. But they conceal and protect a unique and diverse natural world that reveals itself to all our senses in an invigorating symphony: green meadows surrounded by dry stone walls, the bleating of sheep, a constant chorus of birdsong, the scent of heather and the dance of black bees as they concoct exquisite honey.
From this peaceful and colourful world emerges the “Ouessant spirit”.
